Pop Rocks – New Pop-Up Shops at the Museum

The Rice Museum is happy to announce the launch of Pop Rocks, a new monthly pop-up shopping event at the Museum. Each month we will highlight one or two small businesses from our region working with rocks, minerals, fossils, or related materials.
Pop Rocks is an indoor event and FREE with general admission. So join us on Sunday, August 29, for the official kick-off. It is a great way to support the Museum and small businesses from our region. Advanced registration is encouraged and masks are required.
August’s featured vendor: Crystal Phummingbird
I grew up visiting Lake Superior and Lake Michigan as a child and have always been enamored with rocks. Recently, I have leaned into that passion and begun learning about, collecting, and creating with rocks, gems, and minerals of all kinds. I dream of working with rocks and crystals full-time and quitting my corporate job. Each piece is a unique part of the earth, and I believe in the power of connecting with nature and the energy that she can share with the world. Join me in the launch of my part-time business.
If you are interested in being a vendor at future events send an email to Dylan Vosti
