2025 YEAR END GIVING

Curiosity knows no limits

As we look ahead to 2026, our focus is clear: making the Museum a welcoming place for everyone. Whether you are a family looking for a fun weekend outing, a student on a school field trip, a grandparent sharing stories with the next generation, or a visitor seeking sensory-friendly spaces, we believe each person deserves to feel at home here. With your support, the Museum can be a place where all can learn, discover, and be inspired.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1), signed this year, introduces new charitable deduction rules in 2026, including minimum thresholds for individuals and corporations, adjusted deduction rates for top income brackets, and expanded options for non-itemizers to claim deductions for cash gifts up to $1,000 ($2,000 for couples). Donor-advised fund giving strategies and estate gift planning are especially relevant, and donors may benefit from making contributions in 2025 before some deduction benefits decrease. Please consult your accountant or financial advisor for advice on how these changes may impact your charitable giving.
