2025 SUMMER CAMPS
Join us for 2025 Summer Camps!
Camps run Monday through Friday from 9am until 3pm. Cost is $400 per camper and includes an opportunity to share the museum with families on Fridays. Open to campers ages 6 to 10 (incoming 1st though 5th graders).
Campers will focus on a new STEAM topic each day of the week. Daily curriculum will be planned by teachers closer to summer, and will include fun activities and experiments that will be completely new each week of camp, so families can register for multiple weeks at once!
There will be arts and crafts activities, as well as fun sports and games every day. Campers will also do a lot of exploring and hiking around the RICE Museum property and visit the Oak Meadow each day for lunch. Daily themes are as follows:
Mondays: Geology and Earth Science! Campers will view different attractions within the museum and investigate rocks and minerals, and the processes of our planet.
Tuesdays: Math and Technology! Campers will experiment with interesting technologies and learn how they work, as well as play fun math games together.
Wednesdays: Chemistry! Likely our messiest day, campers will do a science experiment involving different materials and watching how they react and change.
Thursdays: Physics and Engineering! Campers will use concepts of physics to build and engineer something new, and then demonstrate how it works.
Fridays: Water Day! Water balloon fights, sprinkler jumping, water guns, and popsicles! A water-filled day of play and classic summer fun.
