Group Tours – Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks & Minerals

GROUP VISITS

The historic Rice Museum houses one of the world’s finest collections of rocks and minerals. With extensive galleries, touchable specimens, and skilled museum hosts we create a layered experience for visitors of all ages. We offer both guided tour programs and unguided group visits.

Our building capacity allows us to accommodate up to 50 people per guided experience. For groups larger than 50 attendees please contact us at info@ricenorthwestmuseum.org

The Museum has limited accessibility. There is no food on-site, however an outdoor picnic area is available.

Self-Guided Small Groups of 1-14

Small groups may come in for unguided visits during normal business hours. Museum staff and volunteers are available to answer questions and point out items of interest throughout the facility. Admission is made on the day of your visit in the museum gift shop.

Self-Guided Large Groups of 15-25

$175 flat rate admission for unguided groups of 15-25 attendees when scheduled and paid in advance.

Payment is made at the time of scheduling through the website. There are no refunds.

Guided Group Experiences

$100 for 2-10 attendees (adults and children)
$200 for between 11-25 attendees (adults and children)
$350 for between 26-50 attendees (adults and children)

Guided Experience topics include rock and mineral formation, fossilization, geologic time, history of the museum and more! Group tours are available by pre-registration only. There are no refunds.
