CHECK OUT PART OF THE MUSEUM FOR YOUR CLASSROOM AND HOME!
Traveling Treasures are portable kits that you can check out for loan from the library or the museum. The kits include rock and mineral samples and a small study guide. You can use these kits to learn more about rocks and minerals on your own or as a teaching aide in the classroom.
Kits offered:
Rocks and the Rock Cycle: this kit includes several rocks from the three different rock groups: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic; an identification table; and some mystery rocks to try your hand at identifying!
